Geared to 2nd - 4th Graders*
Many children receive a picture Bible at their baptism, fulfilling the parental promise to "place in [their] hands the Holy Scriptures." Our congregation also promises to support and pray for them in their new life in Christ. No matter where your child is on their faith journey, we want to support our young readers in taking their next step by presenting them with a 'big kid' Bible on Sunday, October 11.
Then, our youth and a parent are invited to attend It’s New to You Bible Preview on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 6:30 - 8 pm, to help you get to know their Bible better. We’ll dig into our Bibles to learn some basic facts, find verses and people, and explore God’s story. “How many books are in the Bible?” “Is there really a talking donkey?” “What is a Habakkuk?” These and many other questions will be part of our time together. We'll also have a pizza dinner.
